All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Fairlawn Cemetery--Chickasha OK © The Chickasha Express-Star Thursday, 25 May 2006 David Gibbs "Dave" Tapp Funeral service for David Gibbs "Dave" Tapp, 58, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 26, 2006 at the Grand Avenue Assembly of God Church, Chickasha. David Gibbs "Dave" Tapp was born November 16, 1947 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming the son of Morris and Dorothy [Barkelew] Tapp and died Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at his home in Chickasha. He and Charlotte Morgan were married June 7, 1969. David was a coach for 32 years. He was a coach in Nowata, Oklahoma, Carthage, Missouri, Chickasha and Noble, Oklahoma, retiring May of 2002. After his retirement from coaching, he worked in the appraisal business with his best friend, Tim Reynolds. David had a great love and dedication to young people and his family. He was preceded in death by: his parents. Survivors include: wife: Charlotte Tapp of the home; granddaughter: Kayla Tapp of the home; father-in-law: I. E. Morgan of the home; three daughters: Erin Tapp of Chickasha; Alicia Strader and husband Charles of Ardmore; Tori Weber and husband Jerry of Anadarko; grandchildren: Kassadee Tapp of Chickasha; Alexis and Zachary Strader of Ardmore; Karlye, Gracie and Rylie Weber of Anadarko; two sisters: Marilyn McClain of Wellington, Kansas; Diane White of Wichita, Kansas; one brother: Don Tapp of Ponca City, Oklahoma. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
