"Rusty" Published in the Arizona Republic on 6/2/2004: D.R. "Rusty" Usry, 10-7-21 to 5-28-04, born in Lexington, OK. Came to - AZ in 1927. Retired after 35 yrs from Dept. of Transportation. Joined the AZ Nat'l Guard at 18 and was a member of the Bushmasters. He served with the 45th Division in France and Germany during World War II. He assisted in the liberation of Dachau. Survived by wife, Lucille, son Kent and brother Waymon. Rusty and Lucille would have celebrated 61 yrs. of marriage on June 4th. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 pm, Friday, June 4 at the Nat'l Memorial Cemetery of AZ, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Family Care Foundation, 1550 S.
