All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Watford, Mary Mary Watford went home to be with her Lord on Feb. 9, 2003, after a brief illness. She was born Sept. 1, 1914 in Tuskahoma, OK to Amos Lee and Agatha Humphries. She was married to the love of her life Paul Jay Watford. Sept. 21 of this year they would have been married for 70 years. Mary lived in the Moore area since 1942 and has been active in the First United Methodist Church. She had five of her children that graduated from the old Moore High School. She was also a member of the Eastern Star of Moore. She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, Donna Kay Watford and Joyce Watford Penton. She is survived by husband Paul Jay Watford of the home, two daughters Mary Box of Moore, & Shirley Milligan & husband Collie of Moore; two sons, Paul Jr. & wife Carolyn of OKC and Angus Lee & wife Betty Jo of Tuttle. Eleven grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church building fund of Moore in memory of Mary Watford. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, February 12, 2003, at the First United Methodist Church, Moore, OK. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens. Services will be under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel.
