All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Memorial Park Cemetery--OKC OK Wells, Chauncey Leon Chauncey Leon Wells, born March 9, 1926 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on May 5, 2004 in Moore, Oklahoma. Devoted husband, loving father, adoring grandfather, caring great-grandfather, and so much more. No one who ever met him did not like him, and no one who ever spent time with him thought he was anything less than one of the best of men. Chauncey was a quiet veteran of the navy who served in the Pacific theatre in World War Two. He also served many communities in Oklahoma for 34 years as an employee of the Santa Fe Railroad. He was always there when a friend needed help and forever sought to think of others before himself. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, and by grandson, Benjamin. Chauncey is survived by his dearest Norma Jean, wife of 55 years; sons Mike of Celina, Texas and Steven of Oklahoma City; daughters-in-law Starlynn and Ginger; grandchildren Lori, Darcy, Amy, Bailey, Travis, Levi, Hannah, and Callie; and great grandchildren Madison and Ethan. Services 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Baggerley Funeral Home Chapel, Edmond. Interment at Memorial Park Cemetery. Baggerley Funeral Home 930 S.
