A celebration of Ms. Wallace's life will at 10 a.m. Oct. 17 at First Presbyterian Church. In keeping with her wishes, Ms. Wallace's body will be cremated and be buried with her parents in Evergreen Burial Park in New Philadelphia, Ohio. Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman is handling arrangements. Ms. Wallace was born Feb. 19, 1934, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, to Dr. Clark McReight and Olivia French Blinn Dougherty. She attended Western College for Women in Oxford, Ohio, for three years. She was a flight hostess for TWA and a medical transcriptionist for Lompoc Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Her lifelong passion was playing the violin. She enjoyed the piano and classical music. For many years she enjoyed being a member of the Lompoc Pops and the Santa Maria Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Wallace was preceded in death by her parents. Ms. Wallace is survived by her sisters, Mary Jean Dougherty of Pacifica, Calif., Ruth Joyce Zimmerly of New Philadelphia, Ohio, and Elizabeth Joan Eichele of Coshocton, Ohio; sons, Howard Clark and wife, Janet Wallace, of Lompoc, Calif., Joseph Martin and wife, Stormy Wallace, of Grass Valley, Calif., and William Alston and wife, Teri Wallace, of Norman; and grandchildren, Jennifer Olivia, Clark William, Jo Janelle and Sara Jean Wallace of Lompoc and William Alston Jr., John Chaney and Andrea Lee Wallace of Norman.
