Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 5, at Memorial Chapel Funeral Chapel in Noble, with the Rev. Robert Milsa officiating. Burial was held later with arrangements made under the direction of Memorial Chapel Funeral Service in Noble. Born July 4, 1944, to John and Luranie (Johnston) Wilson, in Bailey, he graduated from Marlow High in 1964, he later enlisted in the Army and served a one-year tour in Vietnam and received a Vietnam Service Medal. He married Janet Mitchell, she preceded him in death in November, 2000. Survivors include his mother, Luranie Wilson of Noble; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Stacy Wilson of Shawnee, Tracy and Ramona McGuire, and Tony and Linda Mitchell all of Lexington; two daughters and sons-in-law, Georgia and James Waterman of Noble, and Teresa and Randy Carlson of Shawnee; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Cleveland County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/cleveland/cleveland.html
