All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Green Hills Memorial Gardens--Rancho Palo Verdes CA Weicht, Darrell Berkley Darrell Berkley Weicht, 78, of Kelso, passed away March 23, 2007 at home. He was born September 22, 1928 in Marcus, Iowa to Merle and Ruth Weicht. He moved to Kelso in 1964 from Long Beach, California. In 1954 he married Dovie Faye Price in Norman, Oklahoma. He retired from the U.S. Navy after 23 years and also worked as a Construction Worker and Longshoreman. Darrell was a family man who loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and enjoyed his grandchildren. Darrell is survived by his wife, Dovie Weicht of Kelso; daughters, Schquitta Tuschhoff of Clarkston, WA, Denise Foster of Castle Rock and Deressa Londo of Kelso; sons, Darrell Weicht of Castle Rock and Darwin Weicht of Castle Rock; 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren with triplets on the way; brothers, Harry Weicht of Mineral Point, WI, Maurice Weicht of Omaha, Nebraska, and David Weicht of Watertown, SD; and 1 sister, Karen Greene of Sioux City, IA. He was preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters, and his parents. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Cascade Northwest Funeral Chapel at Green Hills Memorial Gardens and Crematory with Pastor Rick Greene officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Community Home Health and Hospice, P.O. Box 2067, Longview, WA 98632. Green Hills Memorial Gardens and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
