The American Legion Post 242 and Veterans of Foreign War Post 1198 will conduct military honors at the cemetery. Rusty was born May 15, 1945 at Centrahoma and died December 18, 2002. His parents are William and Effie (Craig) Blevins. He attended Centrahoma Schools and graduated from Tupelo High School and served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam era. He married Linda Humphries November 1, 1963 in Oklahoma. He was head custodian at Coalgate Schools until his retirement. He was a former Mayor of Centrahoma. Survivors include his wife Linda Blevins of the home, two daughters, Effie Johnson, and LaSandra Johnson, two sisters, Mary White and Dorothy Turner, a brother Arthur Blevins, Six grandchildren and a great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by two sons and a daughter. Criswell Funeral Home or Ada was in charge of arrangemnets.
