Jenkins Funeral services for Jim J. Jenkins, 73, will be held at the first Baptist Church in Coalgate at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon. Rev. Leon Davison will conduct. The retired farmer and Coal County resident for 65 years died at his home in north west Coalgate at 4:15 Tuesday morning following a heart attack. Married on Oct. 14, 1906 to Miss Ida Pearl Marcum at Cairo, I. T., he and his wife had reared their family in Coal County. Surviving are his wife, Pearl Marcum Jenkins, Coalgate; children, Mrs. Viola Roberts, Sulpher; Mrs. Mabel Cooper, San Pablo, CA. Willard Jenkins, Lexington, OK, Mrs Faye McDonald, Salinas, CA, Aubrey Jenkins, Oklahoma City, one sister, Mrs. Mattie Johnson, Portland, Oregon, three brothers Frank Jenkins, Tulsa; Charlie Jenkins, Duncan; and Harrison Jenkins, Floydads, TX. Burial will be at Coalgate cemetery with Slater funeral home directing Note: This is Angie's Grandfather Jim's Parents are Joe J. & Minerva E. Davis Jenkins, both buried in Wardville Cemetery, Atoka Co.
