Cecil Ray Paxton was 66, from Holton, Kansas and died December 24, 2002. He attended school in Coalgate and moved to Holton, KS in 1959. He owned and operated Paxton Construction Co since 1961 and Anitques of Holton since 1995. He was a member of the Holton Fire Dept for 39 years, serving as fire chief for 10 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Holton and the Jackson County Storm Spotters. He was also a past member of the Moose Lodge and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Holton. Survivors include a companion, Jean Gaines, a son Kevin Paxton, 3 daughters, Shelly Kay Robinson, Shelby Ray Brey and Susan Carol Walker. Six grandchildren and numerous other famiy members that will miss him. He was buried in the Holton Cemetery in Holton, KS.
