Mrs. Taylor was born at Douglasville, GA, April 13, 1884 and was married to Jess Taylor on September 16, 1900. She is survived by her husband, and four daughters, Mrs. Ella Thomas, Mrs. Ena Thomas, Mrs Ruby Henderson, and Mrs. Vivian Stamps, 10 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, all of Coalgate, and three sisters, Mrs May Goodman and Mrs. Vera Park of near McAlester, and Mrs Pearl Gallimore of Junction City, Oregon, and two brothers, Bob and Boyd of near McAlester. Funeral services were held at the McCarty school house Saturday afternoon conducted by Eld. C. A. Magness of the Church or Christ, of which she was a member since the age of 16 years.
