All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Laurel Land Memorial Park--Ft Worth TX Abate, Anna Mae 1925 - 2005 Anna Mae Abate, 80, went to heaven on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter The Apostle Catholic Church. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Rosary at 7 p.m. She was born May 3, 1925, in Sterling, Okla. Anna was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved to cook and make crafts. She was an active parishioner at St. Peter The Apostle Catholic Church for the last 11 years and was also a member of the Catholic Daughters, Ladies of St. Peter, and the Red Hat Society. Anna enjoyed making lap quilts for local nursing homes. She traveled to experience the churches in Europe, and her favorite pastimes were puzzles and working in her garden. Anna also helped others in time of need and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Anna was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Abate. Survivors: Her sons, Joe and his wife, Carol, Eddie and his wife, Ardi, Michael and his wife, Lisa; daughter, JoAnne and her husband, Dan Hall; sisters, Lucille Scheetz, Mary Bearb, Emma Boutte and her husband, John; brothers, Herman Fehring and his wife, Jackie, Wilbert Fehring, Joseph Fehring and his wife, Rita; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous family members.
