Atkins Funeral for Charlie M. Atkins, 93, Lawton, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Atkins died Friday, July 1, 2005, in Lawton. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery. ========= Lawton Constitution 7 Jul 2005 Charlie M. Atkins Funeral for Charlie M. Atkins, 83, Lawton, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Home Chapel with Darrell Balmer officiating. Mrs. Atkins died Friday, July 1, 2005, in Lawton. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery. She was born Aug. 25, 1921, in Greenville, Texas, to Emma and Spivey Robinson. She was raised in Hollis, Texas, and then moved to Lawton, where she made her home. Survivors include a sister, Billie Ray Cash; three daughters: Doris Kittel, Connie Mae Smith and Connie Faye Redd; five sons: William Bowning, Aaron Jeffery Floyd Jr., Aaron Charles Floyd, Charley Wayne Floyd and Herbert Atkins; 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and many cousins, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Vaulty Bell and Johnny C.; a brother, Spivey Jr.; a son, A.D.; and a daughter, Patricia Ramsey. ========= Lawton Constitution 8 Jul 2005 Charlie M.
