"Eddie" Autry Funeral for Glenn E. "Eddie" Autry, 58, Lawton, will be at 10 am Friday in First Baptist Church Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Tom Willoughby, associate pastor, officiating. Mr. Autry died Monday, Nov. 24, 2003 in Lawton. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery under the direction of Becker Funeral Home. He was born Dec. 18, 1944, in Lawton, to Iliff and Ruth Autry. He graduated from Lawton High School in 1963 where he participated in baseball and football. He attended Southwestern State College and Cameron University. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and a past member and officer of the Lawton Claims Association. He was also a past member of the Oklahoma Claims Association and Independent Auto Damage Appraisers Association. He was a member of the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians, and worked many years with Kirk's Emergency Service. He had his own business, American Adjusting, for several years, and worked at several body shops and parts departments in Lawton. Survivors include a son, Scott Autry, Oklahoma City; a daughter, Julie, Enid; a grandson, Jacob; a sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Gary Scott, Lawton; a niece, Tricia Smith, Owasso; and a nephew, Chris Scott, Lawton; their families; and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandparents: Aubrey and Blanche Stringer, and Addison and Fannie Autry.
