All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm +=========================================================================+ Lawton Constitution 27 Dec 2002 Frank Dewey Altman ELGIN — Funeral for Frank Dewey Altman, 17, Elgin, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Elgin, with the Rev. Joseph Kolb, pastor, officiating. Frank died Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2002, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Elgin. Burial will be Monday at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, under direction of Hodge Funeral Home, Fletcher. He was born June 11, 1985, in Lawton. He lived in Washington and Dover, N.J., before moving back to this area in 1999. He was a junior at Elgin High School where he was active in football, weight lifting, wrestling and mountain bike racing. He was a member of the Filipino Association of Lawton/Fort Sill and the Kealiis Hawaiian Dance School. He was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church where he attended high school religious class and confirmation class. Survivors include his parents, Jeff and Rose Altman, of the home; a sister, AnneMarie, of the home; and his paternal grandparents, Telford and Joann Altman, Indiana, Pa.
