All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Sunset Memorial Gardens--Lawton OK Becker Funeral Home Obit 18 Jan 2006 Floy Arnold Age 93 - Broken Arrow, Services will be 10:00 AM Monday at the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Mr. Arnold died Thursday in Stigler. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens. He was born on April 2, 1912 in Cass, Oklahoma to Tom M. and Dicie Jane (Teague) Arnold. He married Ella Eulalia Best in Hulen, Oklahoma on October 29, 1935. He lived in Hulen, Walters and Lawton before finally residing in Broken Arrow in 1995. He served in the US Army during World War II. He was a part of Company C, 56th Armored Infantry Battalion, 12th Armored Division during the famous “Push to the Rhine.” His division was known as the “Mystery Division.” After his discharge, he went into business for himself as a cattle buyer and then as a cattle buyer and transporter. He was a member of the American Legion. Survivors include his wife of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Flo Ella Potts and Ed of Tulsa; a sister, Della Mosby of Keota, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Brad Potts of Tulsa, Dr. Geoff Potts and his wife, Donna, of Norman, and Greg Potts of Dallas, Texas; a great granddaughter, Annabella Potts, and numerous other family and friends. Twelve brothers and sisters preceded him in death. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
