Orva Leone Babbitt

McLEAN - Orva Leone Babbitt, 98, died Saturday, May 17, 1997.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church with 
the Rev. Thacker Haynes, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest 
Cemetery by Lamb Funeral Home.

Mrs. Babbitt was born in Bryson, Jack County. She moved to McLean from New 
Mexico in 1922. She married Loren H. Babbitt in 1917 at Lawton, Okla. He 
preceded her in death.

She was a Presbyterian.

Survivors include three daughters, Lorene Shults of Albuquerque, N.M., 
Edna Leona Snyder of McLean and Kay Simons of Atworth, Ga.; nine 
grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-greatgrandchildren.
