James Buckles

FRITCH - James "Dick" Buckles, 60, of Fort Collins, Colo., died Sunday, 
Sept. 20, 1998.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Westlawn Memorial Park 
with the Rev. Trey Robertson, pastor of First Southern Baptist Church of 
Fritch, officiating. Arrangements are by Minton / Chatwell Funeral 
Directors.

Mr. Buckles was born in Elgin, Okla., and was a former resident of Fritch. 
He graduated from Phillips High School in 1955. He retired as a welder and 
was a member of First Southern Baptist Church of Fritch.

Survivors include two sons, Joe Dale Buckles and Timothy Buckles, both of 
Loveland, Colo.; a daughter, Julie Burcham of Fort Collins; his mother and 
stepfather, Merle and Clay Ross of Fritch; two brothers, Glen Buckles of 
Borger and Johnny Buckles of Longmont, Colo.; two stepbrothers, David Ross 
of Crowley and Dennis Ross of Garland; two sisters, Marilyn Walker of 
Dumas and Linda Ann West of Norman, Okla.; and five grandchildren.
