Lawton, Okla., Jan. 16.- While on his way to Hobart to stand trial on the charge of killing Charles THOMAS of Alvord, Tex., Dr. F.D. BEAUCHAMP of this city was shot and instantly killed at the Rock Island depot. John F. THOMAS, a prominent attorney of Lawton, and Will THOMAS of Chico, Tex., brothers of Charles THOMAS, after the shooting, entered a cab and drove to the sheriff's office and delivered themselves into his custody. BEAUCHAMP leaves a wife and three children. John THOMAS is married and has a small son.
