Robert A.Bilby

Funeral for retired Staff Sgt. Robert A. Bilby, 80, Lawton, will be at 2 p.m. 
Wednesday at the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Sgt. Bilby died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, at a local hospital.

Burial with military honors will be under direction of Becker Funeral Home.

He was born Sept. 19, 1923, in Williamsport, Pa., to Vernon and Carrie Branning 
Bilby. He married Josephine E. Driesbach on Dec. 8, 1945, in Wayland, N.Y. He 
was an Army veteran of World War II, where he served in five major battles. He 
then worked for Kmart and retired after 14¢ years.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; a sister, Mildred Butler, Lindon, Pa.; 
and two brothers: Kenneth M. Bilby, Jersey Shore, Pa.; and Joe Bilby, Westport, 
Pa.
