Age 81, Lawton, Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Ballard died Friday in a local hospital. Burial will be under the direction of Becker Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. She was born August 26, 1923 in Stigler to James D. and Delsie M. Franks Morrison. She married Marion C. (Jack) Ballard on May 22, 1947 in Sterling. He died April 5, 2000. Mrs. Ballard was a member of the First Baptist Church in Indiahoma. She was also a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 193 for over fifty years. Survivors include two daughters; Pat Noriega, of the home, and Tammy Wright and her husband Nick, Lawton, two brothers; J. D. Morrison and his wife Ingrid, Bethany, and Keith Morrison and his wife Helen, Edmond, three sisters; Wynola Taylor, Lawton, Fay Hennigar, Northwood, Iowa, and Delores Dye and her husband David, Lakewood, California, two grandchildren; Todd Ballard and his wife Tina, Cache, and Kimberly Fonvil and her husband Sam, Miami, Florida, and seven great grandchildren; Layne, Samantha, Dylan, Samuel, Patrecka, Morgan, and Mia. She is preceded in death by a son; Jack E.
