Berg Funeral for Barbara A. Berg, 57, Lawton, is pending with Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. Mrs. Berg died Monday, May 5, 2003, in Oklahoma City. ========= Lawton Constitution 8 May 2003 Barbara A. Berg Funeral for Barbara A. Berg, 57, Lawton, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Passmore, pastor, First Baptist East, officiating. Mrs. Berg died Monday, May 5, 2003, at an Oklahoma City hospital. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens under direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. She was born Dec. 30, 1945, in Greenville, Texas, to Elmer and Ardella Reeves Martin. She graduated from Lawton High School in 1964, and attended Great Plains Area Vocational Technology Center. She was a licensed practical nurse, and worked at Reynolds Army Community Hospital until her retirement in 1995. She was a member of First Baptist East Church. She married Gary Berg on Aug. 11, 1989, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Survivors include her husband, of the home; a son, Burnell Johns "B.J." Bowles Jr., of the home; two stepsons: Christopher Berg, Marlow; and Alan Berg, Lawton; two daughters and sons-in-law: Susan Marie and Larry Thompson, Guam; and Kerri Lynn and Rick Barfield, Cario, Ga.; two brothers: Perry Martin, Lufkin, Texas; and Jerry Martin, Lawton; and six grandchildren.
