At an early age she united with the Baptist Church and worked faithfully until her health would no longer permit her to do so. She attended school in Georgia and later the family moved to Grandfield, Oklahoma. She met and united with Holy Matrimony to Mr. Adam Brack. They later moved to Lawton, Oklahoma and she united with the St. John Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Mitchell, working as an usher in the church. Sunday evening about 2:30 she slept quietly away. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband Mr Adam Brack; two daughters, Mrs. Sherlie May Allen and Miss Mattie Bell Black; three sons, Adam Brack, Jr., Leroy Johnson and Kenneth Dee Brack, a sister Gay Ann Ruth Johnson, one grandchild, a host of cousins, other relatives and countless friends. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Comanche County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/comanche/comanche.html
