All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution May 26 & 27, 2002 Betty Brigham ELGIN — Funeral for Betty Brigham, 72, Elgin, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Ashlock, pastor of First Christian Church, officiating. Mrs. Brigham died Friday, May 24, 2002. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. She was born Oct. 4, 1929, in Lawton to Clifford and Vietta Skillman Mills. She grew up in Lawton and graduated from Lawton High School. She married Hugh Brigham Oct. 5, 1952, in Lawton. She was a cook for the Lawton Public Schools system, working at Lee Elementary School before retiring in 1989. She was a member of First Christian Church. Survivors include hr husband, of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Jeanne Brigham, Wichita Falls, Texas; a daughter and son-in- law, Tammy and Ken Cook, Meers; a sister and brother-in-law, Maryann and Jerry Riley, Springdale, Ark.; and two grandsons: Hunter and Tanner Cook, Meers.
