All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Sterling Cemetery--Sterling OK Lawton Consitituion 16 May 2003 Mary Barker STERLING — Graveside service for Mary Loraine Barker, 78, Sterling, will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Sterling Cemetery with Adraine Smith, Sterling, officiating. Mrs. Barker died Wednesday, May 14, 2003, at a Lawton hospital. Arrangements are by Hodge Funeral Home, Fletcher. She was born Dec. 27, 1924, in Richwood, Mo., to Stephan Kasban and Eva Akerson Kasban. She married William H. Barker on Aug. 26, 1944, in St. Louis, Mo. They moved to the Wintergarden, Clermont, Fla., area in 1958. She was employed at Valbro Business Forms in Wintergarden for 25 years. She was a member of the CB Breakers Club, and served as head coach of a junior bowling league. She was also a caregiver to many homebound people throughout the Wintergarden area. Survivors include her husband, of the home; three sons and two daughters- in-law: Michael and Barbara Barker, Sterling; William "Billy" and Carol Barker, Decatur, Ala.; and George Barker, Las Vegas, Nev.; a special son, Dennis Schulte, Las Vegas, Nev.; five granddaughters: Cindy Butler, Port Orchard, Wash.; Michell Hansen, Lee’s Summit, Mo.; Angela Geiger, Sterling; Eva Gray, Elgin; and Marcia Barker, Decatur; three grandsons: Michael Barker Jr., Elgin; Cory Barker, Decatur; and Scotty Barker, Eastern, Wash.; seven great-granddaughters; eight great-grandsons; a great-great-grandson; and friends at Comanche County Memorial Hospital. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Comanche County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/comanche/comanche.html
