All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 20 Nov 2003 Eunice Lucille Bridges FLETCHER — Funeral for Eunice Lucille Bridges, 78, Fletcher, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Fletcher First Baptist Church with the Rev. A.L. Swagerty, Fletcher, officiating. Mrs. Bridges died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2003, at her home. Burial will be at Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, under direction of Hodge Funeral Home, Fletcher. She was born Oct. 13, 1925, in Arkadelphia, Ark., to John McCallister and Sallie Smith McCallister. She grew up in the Fort Cobb area. She married Dick Bridges on April 10, 1946, in Pauls Valley. He died Aug. 9, 1992. They lived a short time in Davis, then in Fort Cobb, then at the Dolese Camp near Richards Spur. They moved their family to Fletcher in 1961, and she worked as manager of the Kentucky Fried Chicken in Chickasha. She also worked in Cyril at the M&M Dry Goods store. She later worked as a caregiver in this area. She retired in 1997. Survivors include three sons: Donnie Bridges, Chickasha; Ronnie Bridges, Sulphur; and Bobby Bridges, Fletcher; eight grandchildren: Becky, Gina, Robin, Ryan, Amy, Cory, Lisa and Jamie; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Cindy; and a son, Johnny. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer society, 1305 W.
