St. Johns' Baptist Church Funeral Card Why do we mourn departed friends, or shake at death's alarm. Tis but the voice that Jesus sends to all them to his arms. This i just another soldier gone to get her reward. She fought the fight, she kept the faith, and now she is has gone home to God. Carol E Burley was born at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina on June 14, 1967. She lived a Christian life. Her Christina life was the fragrance of a beautiful rose, and her influence will ever, whatever places she has resided. She was an active member of the St. John Baptist Church, active in the Choir, and was also a student at Cameron University. Saturday, she departed this life at Reynolds Army Hospital. Leaving to mourn her passing are: her parents, MSGT and Mrs Samuel Burley Sr. Ret of the home in Lawton; three brothers, Sammy Burley Jr., Thomas Burley and Carlos Burley, her twin brother; one nephew, Tavarus Burley; a great- grandmother, Emmaline Wiggins; three aunts, Mary and Brenda Warthen and Dorothy Tharpe; seven uncles, Robert Burley, Charlie, Tom, Bobby, Carlos, Billy and Len Warthen; a host of cousins, other relatives and countless friends. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Comanche County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/comanche/comanche.html
