Barnes Funeral for Duane H. Barnes, 70, Lawton, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Cameron Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Jones, pastor, officiating. Mr. Barnes died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2003, at a Claremore care center. Burial with military honors will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens under direction of Becker Funeral Home. He was born April 1, 1933, in Anderson, Ind., to Floyd C. and Flossie Barnes. He married Dell Sellers on May 19, 1984, in Lawton. He retired from General Motors after 38 years of service. He served in the Air Force for eight years, and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Cameron Baptist Church and the Adult 3 Sunday school class. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge and was a Mason. Survivors include his wife, of the home; four sons and daughters-in- law: Rick and Beki Sellers, Lawton; Randy and Maria Sellers, Edmond; Corky and Claudia Sellers, Elgin; and Keith and Marsha Barnes, Summitville, Ind.; and 13 grandchildren; Joshua Sellers, Tracy Sellers, Selene Sellers, Presley Sellers, Brandon Sellers, Lauren Wiggins, Chad Sellers, Camron Sellers, Cade Barnes, Colton Barnes, Kerby Barnes, Shane Taliaferro and Tanner Taliaferro. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
