Persons or organizations desiring to use this material for purposes other than stated above must obtain the written consent of the file contributor. ====================================================================== Comanche County: The Lawton Constitution, Tuesday, August 6, 1991 Levi BURNETT, Funeral services for Levi Burnett, 67, were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday Aug. 5, in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, Lawton, with Dr. Mark Riley, pastor, of the First Baptist Church of Elgin, officiating. Mr. BURNETT died Aug.2, 1991 in a Lawton Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mr. Burnett was born Sept. 10, 1923 in Hart, Oklahoma. He had been an area resident most of his life. He had worked in small engine repair, had also worked at one time for Dolese, the railroad and was a farmer. He was a veteran of World War II where he was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
