Matthew Coy Bryant FORT SILL -- Graveside service with military honors for Cpl. Matthew Coy Bryant, 26, Fort Sill, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Memory Hill Cemetery, Dothan, Ala. Cpl. Bryant died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004, in Lawton. Local arrangements are by Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Service. He was born Oct. 21, 1978, in Chambers County, Ala. He was a 1997 graduate of Northview High School and was on active duty with the U.S. Army. He married Janet Cestaro on June 12, 2004. During his time of service, he was stationed in Germany and served with NATO forces in Kosovo. His decorations include the Army Achievement Medal, NATO Medal and Kosovo Campaign Medal. He was recently promoted to the rank of corporal at his duty station in Fort Sill. Survivors include his wife, Fort Sill; his father Coy Bryant and his wife, Cindy, Valley, Ala.; his mother, Delana Upchurch and her husband, Joel, Dothan; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jane and Mark Evans, Dothan; a brother, Jacob Hudmon; three sisters and a brother-in-law: Ashley Bryant and Tiffany Osbon; and Jill and Chad Johnson; his grandparents: JoAnn and Milton Brookins, Jorene Herrin and Vivian Bryant; and special grandparents: Barbara and Kenneth Johnson. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, Dothan.
