Barnett Graveside service for Lela L. Barnett, 94, Lawton, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Memorial Park Cemetery, Oklahoma City. Mrs. Barnett died Tuesday, March 4, 2003, at a local hospital. Arrangements are by Becker Funeral Home. She was born June 2, 1908, in Clayton, N.M., to John David and Harriet Barnett. She was a retired librarian at Fort Sill. She was an Army veteran and served three years during World War II in Italy. She was a member of First Christian Church and the Lawton Garden Club. She was an alumni of the University of Oklahoma. Survivors include a brother, Rolla Barnett, Choctaw; a niece; Lynn Barnett; and two nephews; Greg Beil, Marshall, Texas, and Don Beil, Tulsa. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Ralph Barnett; and a sister, Mildred Beil.
