Pastor Harmon Dickey of Living Praise Tabernacle will officiate. Mr. Cox, 72, of White City, died Friday (July 18, 2003) at his home. He was born May 21, 1931, in Cache, Okla., to Joe and Sarah Cox. In Chickasha, Okla., he married Drewcella Mae English, who survives. He moved to the Rogue Valley in 1987 from Texas. Mr. Cox worked as a transmission specialist and salesman. He served in the U.S. Army from 1948 to 1952. Mr. Cox enjoyed playing guitar and singing and was an avid outdoorsman. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons, Mike, White City, and Thomas Jr., Pensacola, Fla.; two daughters, Angela Oliver, Eagle Point, and Brenda Cox, White City; a brother, Charles, in Texas; four sisters, Katie, Helen and Mildred, all in Oklahoma, and Marie, in Washington; 19 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
