Gene Townsend officiating. Burial is under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home of Rush Springs. ========= Lawton Consititution 10 Jan 2005 Richard L. Cox Funeral for Richard L. Cox, 59, Lawton, was Friday at Rush Springs Cemetery with Gene Townsend, pastor, Christ the Rock Church, officiating. Mr. Cox died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005, at his home. He was born Aug. 26, 1945, in Lockhaven, Pa. He served two tours in Vietnam. While in the service he received many accommodations and medals, including the Bronze Star, which he received in 1972. Survivors include his wife, Cheryl, of the home; a son: Robert Daniel Lloyd, Rush Springs; two daughters: Natasha Cox, Friendswood, Texas; and Amy Delk, Rush Springs; six grandchildren: Garric Rodgers, Friendswood, Texas; and Daniel, Brooke and LaDonna Delk and Traci and Evan Lloyd, all of Rush Springs; and his parents-in-law: Robert and Betty Sampley, Rush Springs.
