Cox Funeral for Ralph K. Cox, 78, Lawton, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 6602 NW Elm, with Elder Wade Noble officiating. Mr. Cox died Friday, June 13, 2003, at his residence. Burial will be in Deyo Cemetery under direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home. He was born Nov. 21, 1923, to Homer and Willie Hicks Cox. He married Pauline Gover on June 30, 1980, in Lawton. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force and was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma. He worked as a geologist for Geological Logging Oil Company until his retirement. Survivors include his wife, of the home; three sons: Ventura W. Pena and wife Carla, Ronald Pena and wife Catherine, and Phillip P. Pena and wife Jeanette; two sisters: Gertrude Burgin and Peggy Russell; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
