All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Bakersfield Californian Thelma Lois Cauthron December 7, 1919-April 7, 2003 A graveside service will be held Monday, April 14, 2003 in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd., at 2:30 p.m. for Thelma Lois Cauthron, 83, who passed away April 7, 2003 in Bakersfield. Thelma Cauthron was born December 7, 1919 in Lawton, Oklahoma and had resided in Kern County for 60 years. Thelma was a hard worker. She worked hard in the fields to support her family. She chopped cotton for three weeks to pay for her son Donald to go to the junior/senior prom. To her, family was her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leon Cauthron; son, Ray L. Cauthron; two infant children and two infant grandchildren, Donald W. and Alysia D. Cauthron. She is survived by son, Donald Cauthron and wife Cookie; daughter, Linda Carter and husband Rex; daughter-in-law, LaDonna Cauthron of Iowa; sisters, Babe and Wanda; brother, Clarence and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin Friday, April 11, 2003 at 5 p.m. in Greenlawn Memorial Chapel.
