Charlie (Poppy) as an honest, honorable, hard-working man, a man of his word and someone you could count on. He was always there for his family, friends and even those he didn't know. Every year he gave Yvonne a red rose for every year they were married and one white rose to boot. He loved camping, boating, scuba diving, cars, talking and helping other people. Everyone that knew him had a special relationship with him and knew where they stood. He was a strong-willed person who knew what he wanted and how he wanted it. He continued to hold his head high even after his heart attack in 1999 and a character attack that broke his heart. We will all miss you. You brought something special to all of us.
