Mrs. Collins died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2004, in Lawton. Burial will be at Temple Cemetery, Temple. She was born July 16, 1913 in Electra, Texas, and grew up in Electra. She married Ralph M. Collins on Dec. 3, 1947. They moved with his construction job for several years until settling on the family farm southeast of Walters in the Gregg community. After her husband's death, she moved to Temple in 1974 and to Walters in 1983. She has been cared for in Lawton since November 1998 because of ill health. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Carol Collins and Tim Tracy, New York; and Teresa and Sunny McClung, Paradise Valley; a daughter-in-law, Kathleen Flanagan, Walters; a brother, Delmar Bennett, Electra, Texas; 12 grandchildren: Valerie Vardell Clark, Matt Clark, Rodney, Brian and Jeffrey Collins, Margaret Clark, Ryan Earley, Kent, Keith and Jason Wrape, Jamie Tracy, Sherry and Roy Rodrick; 15 great-grandchildren.
