Clark Former Lawton resident, Age 62, Rogers, Arkansas, Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday at the Fort Sill National Cemetery. Sergeant Clark died Thursday, September 16, 2004 in Rogers, Arkansas. Burial will be under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home. He was born on February 14, 1942 in Luther, Oklahoma to Jesse Ervin and Beda Beatrice (Smith) Clark. He married Gloris A. Garner in November of 1963. She died on June 20, 1997. He enlisted into the US Army and served during the Vietnam War. He also had tours in Korea, Germany and Kuwait. He retired from the Army on April 30, 1982. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Sheri Talmadge and Robert of Virginia; 2 grandchildren, Lauren and Ryan; his twin brother, Melvin Floyd Clark and his wife, Shirley, of Lawton; his brother, Jesse Clark of Rogers, Arkansas; 4 sisters, Frances White and her husband, John; and Elizabeth Burkett and her husband, John, both of Rogers, Arkansas; Bobbie French and her husband, Ron; and Beatrice Clark, both of Redding, California; and numerous other nieces and nephews. His parents, wife and a sister, Mary Jo Clark, preceded him in death.
