Combs CENTRAL HIGH - Funeral for Billie R. Combs, 60, Central High, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Dr. David Lawrence, pastor, Central Baptist Church, Central High, officiating. Mrs. Combs died Saturday, May 24, 2003, at her home. Burial will be at Walters Cemetery. She was born in Walters on Jan. 24, 1943, to Prentiss and Lena Thomas. She married 1st Sgt. (retired) Ronald G. Combs on April 11, 1970, in Lawton. She grew up in Lawton and graduated from Lawton High School in 1961. Survivors include her husband, of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Dana Lee and Robert William Schreiber, Norman; five sons and daughters-in- law: Ronald A. and Teresa Combs, Pawhuska; Rodney Lynn and Debbie Combs, Wichita, Kan.; Scott and Rhonda Combs, Lawton; Terry Carroll and Tracy Combs, Jones; and David Patrick and Jennifer Combs, Lawton; two sisters: Jean Maddox and Dorothy Stewart, both of Gulfport, Miss.; two brothers: Donald Thomas, Geronimo; and Jerry Thomas, Gulfport; nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
