Mrs. Craig died Friday, Sept. 6, 2002, in Lawton. Burial will be at Fort Sill Post Cemetery. She was born May 26, 1922, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to John and Catherine Truhan Krop. She married Frank C. Craig July 15, 1950, in Panama City, Panama Canal Zone. During World War II, she worked for the U.S. Navy and retired from civil service after 42 years. She served as secretary for the hospital commander for 38 years. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, VFW No. 1193 Auxilliary, and the Great Plains Club, International Training and Communication. Survivors include her husband, of the home; five nieces and nephews: Jon Wilson, Alicia VanValkenburg, Christine Funair, William Wilson and Mark Wilson.
