Josephine Crosby

Josephine Crosby was born November 12, 1926 in Texarkana, Texas. She 
attended school in Texarkana and high school in Cooper, Texas. At an early 
age she united with the church. In 1954 she came to Lawton and was a 
resident here off and on until her home coming. She was a member of St 
John Baptist Church and Missionary Society. She united in Holy matrimony 
to S/Sgt (Ret) Riley Crosby, a happy union. She will be missed by all who 
knew her. Monday, April 2, 1973 she went home to rest leaving to mourn her 
home going a devoted husband S/Sgt. (Ret) Riley Crosby of the home; her 
mother Mrs Berdie Neelon, Topeka, Kansas; a daughter Charlott Denise 
Crosby of the home, and George Crosby, Muskegon, Michigan; two sisters, 
Miss Bessie Neelon, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Minnie Neelon, Topeka, Kansas; 
and two brother, Jerry Neelon, Austin, Texas, and James Neelon, 
Washington, D.C., Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and a host of 
other relatives and friends.
