Alva Smith officiating. Prayer service will be at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Ms. Carter died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003, in Anadarko. Burial will be at Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko. She was born Nov. 7, 1942, in Lawton, to Russell Ross and Sarah Stevens. She married Harvey D. Pribble in 1961 in Anadarko. He died in 1973. She was a homemaker and also a certified nurses’ aide for many years. She was a member of the Wichita Tribe and lived in Anadarko most of her life. Survivors include two sons: Harvey Dale Pribble and Marvin Wade Pribble; three daughters: Donna Jean Pribble, Jonna "Jody" Gail Walker and Maria L. Geikaunmah; 30 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Steve Ross and Cleve Ross; and a sister, Kym Pendarvis.
