Bob Jones, pastor, Cameron Baptist Church, officiating. Mr. Cornett died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2003, in Lawton. Arrangements are by Becker Funeral Home. He was born July 23, 1935, in Lawton to Percy E. and Margaret V. Cornett. He grew up in Lawton and was a 1953 graduate of Lawton High School and later attended Cameron College. He married Doris Brandenburg on Dec. 24, 1954, in Lawton. He worked 22 years at Fairmont Dairy and, at the time of his death, was employed by Pepsi Cola Bottling Company. He had worked there for 25 years. He was a member of Cameron Baptist Church. He was a 32nd-degree Mason and a member of Lawton Masonic Lodge No. 183. Survivors include his wife, of the home; a daughter, Sandra Lynn Cornett, Elk Grove, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Naomi Moore and her husband, Roger, Elgin; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter in 1956. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Lawton Area.
