All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Bakersfield Californian Ida Kern Carnahan Services: Thurs., May 22, 11 a.m. Graveside services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd., for Ida Kern Carnahan, 98, who passed away May 18, 2003. Mrs. Carnahan was born on November 24, 1904, in Meers, Oklahoma, and resided in Kern County since 1930. She became a Christian at age 18 and was a member of the Church of Nazarene for 80 years. Mrs. Carnahan is survived by her twin sister, Eda Batton of Redding, CA; and her sons and daughters-in-law, Millard and Jeannie Kern, Jerry and Loretta Kern all of Bakersfield; grandchildren, Rita Corson, Terri Glatz, Brenda Walker, Jed, Jeffrey and Blake Kern; 10 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. No visitation is scheduled.
