Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Sherman Eastland, chaplain of Northwest Texas Healthcare Systems, officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Davee was born in Hobbs, N.M. He moved to Amarillo in 1971 from San Angelo. From 1950 until 1959, he served in the Army National Guard. He was employed as a salesman for Western Merchandisers for 30 years. He married Mary Gariepy in 1953 at Odessa. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Doreen Groom and Dawn Johnson, both of Amarillo; two sons, Donald Davee and David Davee, both of Amarillo; a brother, Chase Meadows of Round Rock; and eight grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. today in Brooks Funeral Directors Chapel with Craig Keel, evangelist, officiating. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today in Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Stinnett. Mrs. Davis was born in Tokyo, Japan. She became a United States citizen in 1967. She was a longtime resident of Lawton, Okla., and moved to Canyon in 1997. She was a homemaker and member of the 40/8 American Legion Voiture Locale 616 in Lawton, Okla. She married Joe K. Davis in 1955 at Tokyo. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tomiko. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Brenda Brock of Canyon and Glenda Davis of Houston; two sisters, Yaeko Kobayashi and Makiko Nishimura, both of Tokyo; five grandchildren; and a great-grandson. The family requests memorials be to the National Kidney Foundation or to the Crown of Texas Hospice.
