Dorothy Gertrude "Trudy" Davis

CLARENDON - Dorothy Gertrude "Trudy" Davis, 74, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 
1999.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hillcrest Cemetery in 
McLean with the Rev. J.W. Roach, retired Baptist minister from Waco, 
officiating. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors Inc.

Mrs. Davis was born in Lawton, Okla. She was a resident of Howardwick for 
seven years and then moved to Amarillo for a short time before moving to 
Texarkana two years ago.

She married Freland David Davis in 1946 in Pampa. She had worked as an 
optician for 25 years before her retirement. She was a member of Paramount 
Baptist Church in Amarillo.

Her husband died in 1994.

Survivors include one daughter, Carrie Thomas of Maud; one brother, the 
Rev. J.W. Roach of Waco; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
