Dupler Jr. CACHE - Funeral for Archie O. Dupler Jr., 75, Cache, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Cache First Baptist Church with Richard McPheeters and the Rev. Charles Kriss officiating. Mr. Dupler Jr. died Wednesday, July 23, 2003, in Cache. Burial with military honors will be at Cache Cemetery under direction of Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Home. He was born May 3, 1928, in Lawton, to Eula Wade and Archie O. Dupler Sr. He graduated from Cache High School. He entered the U.S. Army in 1946, and served as a sergeant with the 54th MP Company in Korea. He was discharged in 1947. He married Billie Joyce Huddleston on April 9, 1949, in Cooperton. He was a plumber for Hardy and Overstreet and Callicott Plumbing. He then worked for Gordon Plumbing for 10 years. He owned and operated Archie Dupler Plumbing from 1966 to 1988 when he retired. He was a member of Cache First Baptist Church and served as a deacon. He was a 32nd-degree Mason, and served as president of the Cache Eagle Riding Club and director of District 3 American Association of Sheriff's Posse and Riding Clubs. Survivors include his wife, of the home; two daughters: Becky Roskam and her husband, Kelly, Cache; and Anita Hicks, Cache; a son, Raymond Dupler, Atoka; a brother, Lester Dupler, Temple; a sister, Carolyn Hosking and her husband, Harry, Taft, Calif.; nine grandchildren: Kelda Miller, Elgin; Junita Steckley, Fort Worth, Texas; Chris Roskam, Cache; Ryan Dupler, Tulsa; Junetta Turner, Murphy, Texas; Robyn English, Stillwater; Leah Hicks, Cache; Cody Dupler, Carnegie; Jena Dupler, Carnegie; 10 great-grandchildren: Jessica, Tanner, Kelli Ann, Hunter, Baily, Braydan, Cole, Kate, Ethan and Sarah. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Emmett Dupler; a sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Clifford Hart; a brother-in- law, Hal Roberts; and a sister-in-law, Janice Dupler.
