All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::NOT LISTED Londahl, Dickey Dickey Londahl died peacefully, of ALS, at his home in Walnut Creek on May 7, 2004. He was born in Modesto, California on July 9, 1929. He grew up in San Rafael and Lodi California. After graduation from Lodi Union High School in 1947 Dick went to Stockton College and the University of California at Berkeley, graduating in 1954. That same year he enlisted with the U.S. Army, and spent the next three years as a 1st Lieutenant with the 82nd Airborne Division in Fort Bragg, North Carolina and Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He was discharged in 1957 and worked as a Mechanical Engineer in the Bay Area. He met and married Ursula Wenck in 1958. They settled in Walnut Creek California where they raised their family. During most of those years Dick was the President of Tuthill-Pump-Corporation in Concord. He retired from Tuthill in 1992. Dick was an extremely generous and kind person. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Ursula of 45 years, his son Chris, daughter in law Laurel and children; his son Greg and children; his brother Jan Londahl; three nieces and four nephews. There will be an informal Memorial, to be announced.
