Lett DeShazo Age 82, Lawton, Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Thursday in the Becker Funeral Home Chapel, Snyder, with Jon Bruce, Minister, Cache, Oklahoma, officiating. Mrs. DeShazo passed from life Sunday, September 19, 2004 at a local care center in Lawton. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder, under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home of Snyder Family will greet friends Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. She was born February 26, 1922 in Mountain Park, Oklahoma to Joseph and Ada Meltabarger Lett. She graduated from Snyder High School in 1942. She then married Walter E. DeShazo on April 13, 1942 in Lawton. He died February 24, 2004. She started her career in cosmetic sales at the Rexall Drug Store in Snyder, Oklahoma in 1957. She moved with her family to Oklahoma City in 1962 where she continued her work in cosmetic sales for John A. Brown Department Store at Capital Hill. She retired from Dillard’s Department Store at Crossroads Mall in 1991. She was a member of Oakcrest Church of Christ in Oklahoma City. She is survived by her Son, Larry DeShazo; Oklahoma City, OK, 2 Daughters and Sons-in-Law: Aretha and George Bower, Cache, OK and Sharon and Gary Smith, Oklahoma City, OK., 2 Brothers and their wives: Herman and Bernice Lett, Mountain Park, OK and Billie and Oneda Lett, Pueblo, CO., 9 Grandchildren, Renee Rhoads, Kristi Sanders, Jay Don DeShazo, Charles Bower, Anne Rump, David Bower, Julie Lopp, Greg Smith and Jonathan Smith, 12 Great Grandchildren and many Nieces, Nephews and Friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, 6 sisters and 3 brothers.
