Mr. Dodd died Monday, May 26, 2003, at a local care center. ========= Lawton Consitituion 28 May 2003 Lloyd Tracy Dodd Memorial service for Lloyd Tracy Dodd, 85, Lawton, will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Centenary United Methodist Church with the Rev. William F. Todd, senior pastor, officiating. Mr. Dodd died Monday, May 26, 2003, at a local care center. Arrangements are by Becker Funeral Home. He was born Feb. 7, 1918, in Meremac to John Edger and Mary Anna May Grubb Dodd. He married Margaret Lucia Hammalian in Las Vegas on Feb. 1, 1941. They came to Lawton in 1966 and opened Shakey’s Pizza Parlor, later changing the name to Gabby’s. They also owned Jonah’s Sub Shop in Lawton, Jonah’s Seafood and Baskin Robbins, both in Wichita Falls, Texas, as well as Popeye’s Chicken in Oklahoma City. He was a 50-year member of Masonic Lodge No. 187 and belonged to the Lawton Antique Car Club. Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Lloyd Timothy and Linda Dodd, Chickasha; and John Thomas and Shirley Dodd, Sterling, Colo.; a daughter and son-in-law, Lucia Linda and Robert White, Holiday, Fla.; five granddaughters and their husbands: Dori and Warren Weaver, Corona, Calif.; Tracy and John Rapoza, Lawton; Stacy and Bubba Cain, Lawton; Dawn Doan, Wichita Falls; and Susan and Steven Voight, Palm Harbor, Fla.; and seven great-grandchildren.
